We took a much needed trip last weekend to a different landscape, the Shenandoah Mountains.
This pretty little stream offered a treat for all the senses, but alas, I can only give you the visual here! I braced the camera on a rock (I didn't want to haul my tripod on the 4 mile hike) to use a slow shutter speed to get the water's motion. It gives you a sense of why, after 300 million years, the rocks are so smooth.
